Announcements On October 24, 2003 e.v., David Cherubim (Frater
A.·.A.·.) voluntarily abolished his administrative position and title as Chief (or Head)
of the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.). There is no
longer an administrative position called Chief (or Head) in the Thelemic Order of the
Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.), and there is no successor, nor can there ever
be one, to fill this now defunct position. Also, as of October 24, 2003 e.v., there
is no longer an administrative title of Officer, Superior Officer or Secretarial Officer
in the Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.. Past Officers of the Order are now only known
by their grade mottoes and titles, and as Initiators and Hierophants (or Hierophantrias)
of the Order. On the Vernal Equinox of 2004 e.v., the Sanctuary of
Thoth was inaugurated. The Hierophant and Initiator of the Sanctuary of Thoth is
Frater ASh AChD
(Brian Goldstein), who is an Adept and the Hierophant of the Thelemic
Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the
T.·.G.·.D.·.). Frater ASh AChD
personally received his Adeptus Minor initiation from the Founder of the Order,
David Cherubim (Frater A.·.A.·.), and he received his Neophyte and Zelator
initiations from an Adept of the Order who personally received the Neophyte, Zelator and
Adeptus Minor initiations from the Founder of the Order.
The Sanctuary of Thoth is located in New York, and it offers
free initiations and other spiritual services to serious aspirants of the Great
Work. For more information, you may go to http://www.thelemicgoldendawn.org/thoth. On March 31, 2004 e.v., David Cherubim (Frater A.·.A.·.), by
his own True Will, officially resigned as a member and representative of the
T.·.G.·.D.·. (and R.·.C.·.), he is now only a "private" initiate of the
A.·.A.·. (Third Order), retired from all Outer and Inner Order activities, and he is now
only known to us as the Founder of the Order. David Cherubim no longer maintains nor
is he responsible for the Thelemic
Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.), he no
longer conducts or participates in any
T.·.G.·.D.·. activities, and he can no longer be contacted through the
T.·.G.·.D.·.. However, all of the documents that he has written and published for
the T.·.G.·.D.·. remain to be the main source of knowledge, inspiration and initiation
for the Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.. He donated all of his
T.·.G.·.D.·. related writings and rituals to the Order. The Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order
of the T.·.G.·.D.·.) was founded on the Vernal Equinox of 1990 e.v. by David Cherubim (Frater A.·.A.·.) and "past" associates in Los Angeles, CA, USA,
and he devoted fourteen years of spiritual service to the Order (during which he conducted hundreds of initiations and classes,
wrote innumerable Order related documents, and actively maintained and represented the
Order). More On the Summer Solstice of 2003 e.v., the Thelemic Order called the O.·.A.·.I.·. that was "founded by David Cherubim on October 24, 1996 e.v.," was terminated in the world by David Cherubim (Frater O.·.A.·.I.·.). The O.·.A.·.I.·. that was founded by David Cherubim is no longer an organization of any kind and it no longer has any form of administration attached to it, and David Cherubim is not affiliated or involved in any manner with any organization using the name of the O.·.A.·.I.·. (or any name for which this acronym represents), and he is not responsible for any of their activities on the internet or in any other way. Contrary to rumors and dishonest claims, David Cherubim was never expelled from any organization called the O.·.A.·.I.·. nor from any other organization. The O.·.A.·.I.·. that was founded by David Cherubim on October 24, 1996 e.v. was never connected with the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.), it was a separate Thelemic Order, and its work in the world was temporary. David Cherubim did not transfer the O.·.A.·.I.·. that he founded to any individual (or group of individuals), and he did not charter or give the rights to any individual (or group of individuals) to continue the work of this Order after its earthly termination. On the Winter Solstice of 2003 e.v., after more than five years of service to the Aleister Crowley Foundation (A.C.F.), David Cherubim transferred the Aleister Crowley Foundation (A.C.F.) to Gerald del Campo of the Order of Thelemic Knights (O.T.K.), to maintain the foundation in association with the O.T.K. in service to Thelema and the works of Aleister Crowley. (The Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn no longer operates in association with the Aleister Crowley Foundation.) Gerald del Campo previously served the foundation by setting up its Supporting Membership program. With Gerald's support, the membership of the foundation continues to exist, and it continues to freely promote Unity in the Thelemic Community for the accomplishment of the Great Work of Thelema.
