Established within the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn is the Sanctuary of Thoth, where Magick lives, not in faith, but in certainty!
The Sanctuary of
Thoth is a Portal of Initiation into the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the
T.·.G.·.D.·.), which is a Magickal Order with links to Aleister Crowley and the Golden
Dawn.
Why Thoth? Our response is who else is more appropriate given our
goals. Thoth, Hermes or Mercury is the winged and vital intelligence of the Gods.
He is the Fool, the Magus and the Hermit. He is the wisdom of the Creator,
the Logos or the Word. Being divine thought itself, he transcends all bounds of time
and space. He is also the Master of Magick, and the patron of all those who seek to
develop and ascend magickally and spiritually.
So much information is available to us. We attempt to sift through this information at the Sanctuary of Thoth, and to work with the true "keys" to understanding Magick and Initiation. In addition to Thelemic Magick, our practices are Solomonic and Wiccan.
We work with many systems of initiation concentrated into one. Here is where the hard work begins. To even begin to develop magickally or spiritually, a true aspirant must go through a purification process. This is easier said than done. (We speak from experience!) For how can you command anything if you are not in control of yourself? So much can be learned if we just stop and listen. Therein is a great Mystery! Learning basic meditative practices is a must. If we combine these skills with the rituals of the Outer Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·., they help to provide us with a practical and balanced system of initiation.
The practice of Ceremonial Magick inherently requires a deep understanding of Astrology (not for purposes of divination, but to understand the energies available to work with in our rites). Understanding Astrology is also necessary to truly understand Tarot. The teachings of Tarot, or the Book of Thoth, are yet another true "key" which we work with at the Sanctuary of Thoth, not for purposes of divination, but as a system of Self-Initiation.
The Sanctuary of Thoth is located in New York, and it offers initiations and other services to serious aspirants of the Great Work. Members of the Sanctuary of Thoth are not required to contribute membership dues or donations, and there are no charges for initiations or for any other services offered by the Sanctuary. Membership in the Sanctuary is entirely free. Initiates and members of the Sanctuary must be eighteen years of age or older.
The Hierophant and Initiator of the Sanctuary of Thoth is Frater ASh AChD (Brian Goldstein), who is an Adept and the Hierophant of the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.). Our Frater has a Sun Sign of 24 degrees Virgo, which is ruled by the Planet Mercury. Mercury is also exalted in Virgo. Hence, our Frater is sympathetic to, and feels particularly influenced by, Mercurial energies.

our workings and understanding of Thelemic Magick, to

Our Frater was also a Priest of the Coven of Akhelarre in Salem, Massachusetts, which trains and initiates Priests and Priestesses in the Alexandrian/Gardnerian/Celtic and hereditary lineages of British Traditional Witchcraft. Azaradel and Lady Zara are the High Priest and High Priestess of the Coven of Akhelarre. Our Frater and his wife were legally hand-fasted by Lady Zara and Azaradel on the evening of the New Moon on February 20, 2004 e.v.
Our Frater lives just outside of Albany, New York with his wife and three beautiful children. He is a lawyer by profession.
You already possess the spiritual tools necessary to engage in the Great Work and the practice of Thelemic Magick.
