Thesis

Throughout history, humanity has used the Rite of Sacrifice as a means of gaining favor with the Divine. The nature of such a Rite was such that a thing of value was given unto that which held greater value.

Agrarian cultures ceded their best crops.
Hunters would yield their choicest kill.
Livestock was slaughtered, and always the greatest of these.
Warriors would sacrifice their captives, human sacrifice being the most precious of all.
That which was dear was invariably sacrificed to that which was most dear: The God.

The time has come to make the Great Sacrifice.
The time has come to sacrifice that which is most dear.
The time has come to sacrifice the concept of God.

And when you find yourself alone in the Universe, who is it that you have become?
Have you not completed the Luciferian Task?
