How Acrobat files are designated on this site.
How to read and save Acrobat versions.
Files sizes of Acrobat files on this site.
Hypertext markup language (HTML) is a giant step backwards in the art of typography. While it is sufficient for reading short online documents, its limitations quickly become wearing when reading longer documents. Complex documents cannot be formatted at all in HTML, and even simpler documents cannot be printed out in a comfortably readable form without a great deal of offline formatting work by the reader.
Since most of the documents on this site are both long and intended to serve as permanent reference resources, I am working to provide well-formatted versions in Adobe Acrobat file format. These are more readable on screen, and can be printed directly for a permanent copy without any additional effort on the reader's part. Unfortunately, they also take somewhat longer to download, so those in a hurry may wish to view the HTML versions first to determine whether it is worth their time to download the Acrobat version.
To take advantage of the Acrobat files, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 4.0 or higher installed on your computer. Versions of the reader for Windows, Apple, Sun and major Unix systems are provided free by Adobe, and include plug-ins for both Netscape and Internet Explorer. They can be obtained online at the Adobe Acrobat Web Site. Earlier versions of the Reader will not work with the files on this site.
If the Acrobat icon is immediately to the left of a hyperlink, that means that ONLY an Acrobat version of the document is available. Example:
The Enochian Calls
If the icon appears at the end of the document description, then the main hyperlink is to the HTML version, while clicking on the icon will load the Acrobat version. Example:
A Short Course in Scrying
Clear, no-bull instructions for creating a "magickal space" and using it for scrying. With discussion of important related issues, including specifics of use for Enochian magick.
To read the file online: Simply click on the Acrobat icon Once it is loaded into your reader, you can also print it out immediately.
To save the file for offline reading and printing: Click the RIGHT mouse button on the Acrobat icon (or one of the links below) then select "Save Target As..." from the popup context menu.
