No sooner had I returned from America than I had to be occupied with the Summer School, which had no time to be organized as it ought to have been. Yet people came from different countries, lectures were continued, and the work went on well.

A question arose of building a hall in Suresnes to facilitate the work of the Summer School, calling it "Universel". This idea was responded to by all, but the plans remained scattered, owing to diversity of opinions.
