Juha, an Arab folk hero whose tricks are related around hubble-bubble pipes all over the Middle East, contrived a scheme to sell his house. He told the buyer, 'You may have the whole house, but I want to keep this nail of mine there. It is an insignificant thing, but it is very precious to me.' The buyer thought this condition rather odd, but allowed Juha to bang the nail into the wall as he handed over the property. The next day Juha knocked and said he wanted to inspect his nail. Then he came back to paint it. Soon he hung his cloak on it. Every day he came for some business to do with the nail, until the new owner could stand it no longer and sold the property back to him at a knock-down price.
