1.  (U) Pol/Econ chief July 6 delivered reftel demarche 
concerning attendance at Sudan's national unity government 
installation to MFA Assistant Under Secretary for 
Coordination and Follow Up Shaikh Abdul Aziz bin Mubarak Al 
Khalifa.  Shaikh Abdul Aziz affirmed that a representative of 
the Bahraini government would attend the inauguration July 9 
in Khartoum.  He said either an MFA representative from 
Manama or the Bahraini Ambassador in Cairo would attend. 
 
2.  (U) In a related development, Shaikh Abdul Aziz said that 
the Forum for the Future (FfF) Steering Committee had debated 
at its May 10 meeting whether to invite the Sudanese 
government to the FfF conference, to be held November 11-12, 
2005 in Manama.  Given the positive developments, he said 
that the co-hosts, Bahrain and the UK, intended to invite the 
Sudanese government to the Forum.
