Understanding cables

ΒΆ1.  (U) Per reftel, on November 24 PolOff delivered demarche to 
Government of Belize (GoB)'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Americas 
Desk Officer Ayesha Borland.  Regarding opposition to UNGA 
resolutions with anti-Israeli bias, Ms. Borland informed PolOff that 
the GoB had discussed the issue and would not change its vote from 
the previous year; however, she said that she would share the 
information with the Belizean UN delegation.  Regarding the 
Goldstone report, Ms. Borland said that Belize had voted "yes" and 
would not change its vote; however, she will share the information 
with the Belizean UN delegation.
