Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

2.  (SBU) Per Reftel, Mission has conveyed the points 
requesting support against one-sided anti-Israel 
resolutions at the UN to the Sri Lankan and Maldivian 
governments.  In light of the importance of this matter, 
we suggest that the U.S. points be communicated directly 
to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe's delegation in 
Washington and to Sri Lanka's UN delegation.
