Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

(SBU) Ambassador made reftel demarche to Foreign Affairs 
Permanent Secretary William Joof, reviewing the key 
components of UNSCR 1737 and stressed the need for efforts by 
all UN member states, including The Gambia, to ensure full 
and effective implementation of this measure.  The Gambian 
official took note of Ambassador's presentation. We will 
report any substantive reaction by the GOTG.
