1.  We have received updated information from the Office of the 
President and the Somali Embassy in Nairobi on the Transitional 
Federal Government delegation that will represent Somalia at the 
64th UN General Assembly.  The delegation will be led by President 
Sharif Sheikh Ahmed who plans to arrive in New York the morning of 
September 24.  President Sharif plans to meet with senior U.S. 
officials and Hill representatives during his trip.  The TFG 
delegation also plans to travel to other states to meet with 
representatives from Somali diaspora communities.

October 2 to October 4 - Minneapolis, MN

October 5 to October 7 - Columbus, OH 
 
October 8 to October 10 - Canada 
 
After the delegation's meetings in Canada, they plan to return to 
New York for approximately two days prior to their departure.
