1.  Post received further information regarding Italy's 
efforts to secure Iranian cooperation for out of country 
voting for the upcoming elections in Afghanistan from the 
MFA's desk officer for Iran, Federica Ferrari Bravo, on 
August 23.  Ferrari Bravo said that Italy is well aware of 
the problem and that its embassy in Tehran was working on the 
issue with other EU embassies.
