Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

Per reftel, EconOff March 19 raised U.S. concerns about 
Brazil's "Development Agenda" proposal at WIPO to Ministry of 
Industry and Commerce Assistant Undersecretary of Foreign 
Trade, Shaikh Daij Al Khalifa.  Shaikh Daij said officials 
from Manama would not be attending the meeting, but he 
pledged to pass information on the U.S. position to Saleh Y. 
Al-Saleh, the senior Bahraini commercial attach in Geneva. 
Shaikh Daij requested that USTR/Geneva be in direct contact 
with Al-Saleh about the issue.  Al-Saleh can be reached at:
