Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 2.  (SBU) The Department of Foreign Affairs (DEPLU) has 
notified Mission via diplomatic note that Indonesia will vote 
in favor of USG candidate Ambassador Pierre-Richard Prosper's 
candidacy for the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial 
Discrimination (CERD) in the January 17 election.  Per Ref A, 
Pol/C had previously urged the Indonesian government to 
support Ambassador Prosper's candidacy, underscoring the 
depth and range of his experience and other qualifications.
