Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). (SBU) Poloff met on February 27 with the Jordanian Foreign 
Ministry's International Organizations Deputy Director Hussam 
al-Husseini to deliver reftel demarche regarding the USG 
desire to build momentum for possible UN Security Council 
action to address the problem of piracy and armed robbery 
against ships sailing in the waters off the coast of Somalia. 
 Husseini was interested to learn that piracy off the Somali 
coast had reached proportions requiring UNSC attention, and 
requested further details on the problem.  Post will request 
via email information from appropriate Department offices for 
passage to the GOJ.
