Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

delivered this dipnote regarding the ASEAN-US Working Group 
Meeting.

The Permanent Mission of the Philippines to ASEAN presents 
its compliments to the Embassy of the United States of 
America and with reference to the forthcoming 2nd ASEAN-US 
Working Group Meeting has the honor to inform the Embassy of 
the United States that during the First ASEAN Committee of 
Permanent Representatives' (CPR) Meeting of 06 January 2010, 
the CPR agreed to propose 17-18 March 2010 instead of 
previous dates in February for the ASEAN-US Working Group 
Meeting. 
 
In Qs connection, the Permanent Mission of the Philippines 
to ASEAN requests the assistance of the Embassy of the United 
States in conveying to Ambassador Scot Marciel the proposed 
date and would appreciate receiving feedback on said schedule 
as well as information on when Ambassador Marciel and/or his 
representative would be available for a meeting, at a time 
convenient to both parties, to discuss preparations and 
agenda for 2nd ASEAN-US Working Group Meeting. 
 
The Permanent Mission of the Philippines to ASEAN avails 
itself of this opportunity to renew to the United States of 
America the assurances of its highest consideration.
