REF: STATE 129480

1. (SBU) Per reftel, post demarched Bosnian MFA Director of
Bilateral Affairs Jasmina Pasalic on January 5, soliciting
Bosnia's assistance in encouraging Iran to free Amcits who
have been imprisoned. Post provided para 7 of reftel as
non-paper to Pasalic.

topic for use in such human rights talks. Pasalic expressed
her concern generally about the use of detention and other
practices in Iran against students, protesters, and others

about Iran-related issues generally.

3. (SBU) Pasalic advised she would meet on January 5 with the
BiH ambassador on his way out to Tehran, and committed to
providing him the non-paper regarding the Amcit cases.
