Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.
  • The middle box contains the header information that is associated with the cable. It includes information about the receiver(s) as well as a general subject.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Ambassador delivered reftel points January 19 to Lesotho's 
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Pont'so Sekatle (Minister 
of Local Government).  The A/FOMIN was generally familiar with 
the issue and indicated she would bring this matter to the 
attention of the Prime Minister.  She anticipated forwarding a 
position soon on the GOL's public support for a UNSC review.
