WHAT KEEPS THEM ALIVE? Of the thousands of gods and goddesses once believed in by our ancestors non-exist today. Their temples destroyed by early Christians contemptuous of rival gods. With the destruction of their temples the gods too were killed off. There are no more temples built to honor Zeus, no more temples built to honor Mithra, there are no more temples built to honor Athene the once Libyan moon goddess. There are no more temples to honor Aphrodite, or Poseidon or the thousands of Roman and Greek Gods with their consorts, all have been killed off by old age and science. But there are two gods that will not stay dead. They are known as Jesus and Jehovah. New temples are being built on every street corner by the thousands. If all the gods and goddesses of antiquity are known to be based on myth, folklore and fable, what are the chances that Jesus and Jehovah are not? Newton Joseph,Ph.D.
