THE PRESIDENT SETS THE PRECEDENT

I have noticed that company employees will often take a cue from their superiors as to how they interact with other employees.  This is also true of presidents; people will take his cue as to how they treat others in our society, and  the society of other countries.  If the president is a bigot, he will set the attitude of the nation.  This is often very subtle, but it is there.
