Grantville Gazette-Volume VII

Extra, Extra, read all about it!

Yep, here we go again. The new and exciting adventures of our favorite "displaced in time and space" crew is ready for your perusal.

Just what all is going on in seventeenth century Germany these days? It's gotten complicated, what with Grantville, West Virginia getting dumped into the middle of the Thirty Years' War.

One enterprising up-timer notes the lack of "real" pizza. "Something Must Be Done!" So, Jon and Linda Sonnenleiter decided to do a little something about that in "The Misadventures of T and V."

Philosophy? You call that a philosophy? On the other hand, why not? Terry Howard imagines what happens when the philosopher meets the cracker barrel in "Grantville's Greatest Philosopher."

Murphy's Law, meet Voice of Luther. Rick Boatright imagines and describes the search for a solution to the emperor's desire for his own radio station in "Canst Thou Send Lightnings."

In "Von Grantville," Russ Rittgers sets up a laundry mogul, while Kerryn Offord's Dr. Phil pulls a few more inventions out of his hat in part two of "The Doctor Gribbleflotz Chronicles."

A new series debuts in Grantville Gazette, Volume Seven, with Kim Mackey's "Essen Steel, Part one."

Virginia DeMarce treats us to two stories in this volume, "Mule 'Round the World" and "Not At All the Type." Two very different stories, with two very different females and their adventures.

John and Patti Friend tell us all about "Burgers, Fries and Beer," while Mark Huston portrays difficult choices in "Seasons."

In our non-fiction selections, Carsten Edelberger proposes routes for the railroads in "Railroading in Germany," and Iver Cooper discusses the engines that will be needed in "Harnessing the Iron Horse." If you want to build a phonograph, take a look at the Rick Boatright and Chris Penycate article, "Mechanical Reproduction of Sound," and make big money as a media star after reading the discussion in "Mass Media," by Gorg Huff and Paula Goodlett

Step right up, folks. Get the very latest issue of the Grantville Gazette, right here, right now!
