January 12, 2001 Greets! Magician: Apprentice was scanned over the last month or so using Omnipage Pro 8 and a HP4C on my Power Mac 9500/180MP with a nice XLR8 G3 upgrade :-). Very carefully proofed (I know how much I hate unproofed/poorly proofed books) with Word 2000 on a creaky old pos P3/800. I only got one speed, and it ain't fast. I intend to continue with the conclusion of the story, and willing I should have it done in a month or so. If there is interest expressed, I will continue the series (and this guy's written a few) as best I can, but remember, I'm only one guy with a scanner. Anyone interested in scanning and proofing any of Mr. Feist's works, please address a message in the ebooks group and let me know which one(s) you wanna do, so we don't waste any efforts... Enjoy.
