I was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason at Roger Hughes Lodge #624, Austin, under charter from the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the State of Texas. I remained active from 1999 through 2004 e.v., when I relocated away from the state. I have never subsequently reactivated my Masonic membership under any other jurisdiction, but I do continue to study the traditions and history of the Craft.
