Subtitle: "An Entertainment Comprising the Curious Adventures

  MacDonald & Co., London, 1944

Contents (some stories renamed for book publication):
  1) First Pill: Mirrors of Glory - Mr Honey takes the
first of the Lama's pills and lives again through an
experience wherein, as Honelius, the Grand Eunuch, he
displays himself as a person of very poor quality indeed.

  2) Fourth Pill: King's Archer - Mr Honey finds himself
under the heel of the Norman invader, and reacts to the
oppression of King Rufus much as an Englishman, in his
position, might be expect	ed to react.

   3) Fifth Pill: Tank Number One - Mr Honey returns to
the Prehistoric but finds no ancient splendour there—
      rather the contrary.

   4) Sixth Pill: Garden of Eden - Mr Honey goes back to
an extremely remote age and meets two Very Distinguished
Personages as well as the foremost fowl of the air in all
      history.

   5) Eleventh Pill: Abbott's Envoy - Mr Honey is
transported to a period in which it was possible for
even a Friar of dubious personal character to be of
great service to no less a person than King Richard,
      the Lion Heart.

   6) Fourteenth Pill: Death to the Hun - Mr Honey,
precipitated to ancient Rome, employs his sinister
talents on behalf of a beautiful Princess, to the very
severe detriment of an unbeautiful Hun.

    7) Fifteenth Pill: The Final Foray - Mr Honey is
projected to the Age of Old Romance and, with his
Squire, sallies forth to restore a fortune which has
gravely diminished since the passing of King Arthur
       — an effort in which, thanks to the Treasure
of Sir Bustyr de Fysshe, he succeeds.
